Some people say Taiwan belongs to China. Some don’t think so.
The reality is, The government in Mainland China (Communists Gov) has never governed Taiwan since WWII till today, they want of course but they haven’t.
Some people in Taiwan say someday they will be unified - until seeing a democratic China. Some say they will never. They prefer to have an independent Taiwan - she is now but is not a UN member today.
It is a part of history. Not a question to judge who is a fool or not.
Just be cool young men.

well it was just for a joke. As an individual I firmly beileve that Taiwan is not a part of China but so is Tibbet. All of you who have left sth to Joyce, I hope will raise your voice for Tibbeten cause as well through this democratic medium.

Tiawan is chinese, they call themselves Chinese then Tiawanses even if its the other way round, its still Chinese it aint French is it, call it like it is all. last i looked there wasnt 2 china’s on a map, its a province of china and always was, look at the ancient records 3K BC its all there just its an island like Hainan is, are we all getting the bigger geo pic, the real Tiawanese are indiginous folk ya as in born there going back hundreds if not longer years as originaly from Fujin province which most Tiawanses speak, the Tiawanese thats the exported versions who make the biggest noise about we are but not Chinese . . . how does that work as most fled Mao & friends from the mainland so they are at best 1st generation islanders but still Chinese and they are still fighting the civil war despite losing it 50 years ago, hence it likes to think it belongs somewhere else, geography says it belongs to and in China not the USA as so often thought and most of tiawan tries to live on the mainland thats the real China . . . actually seen prettier here in Shanghai, as for visiting Tiawan . . . no point boring place cultural back water its all happening here even for the Tiawanese . . . for all those who are confused.
