1. Um, isn’t it quite obvious maria was accusing dawn for promoting herself as a eurasian to gain popularity, which she finds irritating cos she thinks dawn’s not a true blue eurasian?

   But I think maria has got it all wrong and shouldn’t be annoyed. People are attracted to dawn because she is one helluva hot babe, not because of a eurasian tag, which she didn’t give herself in the first place, only that she has mixed grandparents. People say she’s gd-looking, then some further comment that she looks eurasian. But yet some also think that she looks chinese. Or thai. whatever. I even read on an american’s website he thought she had mexican or native american blood! Beauty is really all in the eye of the beholder.
   You say “her admirers definitely seem to credit her looks to it [being eurasian]“. But do realize that there is a difference between commenting on what race a beautiful person looks like, and saying a person is beautiful because she is a certain race.

   There’s no need to get riled up and childishly insisting you’re a “real eurasian” and you have “more eurasian blood than dawn ever will”. Sounds rather supremist to me. Gawd it’s like a case of a japanese throwing a giant hissyfit when a chinese gets mistaken for being a cute jap girl. Dumb is it not? Who really cares? Some chinese look malay, some indians look eurasian… happens everywhere.

   and hello what’s the deal with wearing coloured contacts..I feel insulted.. i wear them too and i don’t think we’re trying to “fool people” or anything. might as well say those who wear the acuvue big eye contact lens are pretending to be korean!

4. wow i didn’t expect a small uproar… i’m glad i came back. anyway as to what i said, it is pretty unfair and biased… i must have been in a bad mood!! but i gotta say, i saw dawn on FHM and she’s so hot!!! haha… sweet and sexy is hard to come by.

   i felt bad for kind of ‘slamming’ her, so here i am!!! don’t get me wrong… i was not trying to ‘promote’ eurasians or anything… i don’t know what state of mind i was in that day! but i think a few people have misunderstood what i said. then again it came across more harsh than i meant so it’s understandable. i suppose being a minority race can take its toll occasionally hence the little angsty ‘outburst’…? i dont’ know. but thanks maria has a point for trying to stick up for me.

   whatever it is, i must agree that dawn is really pretty! =) and super hot!

    I’m ashamed to admit that I was from her school, SCGS. They must be so proud.

    She’s quite smart. She did her surgery over the years. She did a bit of her nose and lips first, and a bit of her eyes. What you see now is all the gradual changes. She’s pretty, but not beautiful.

    She knows her angles, that’s for sure. That’s why she churns out such great shots of herself.

    And she claims to be Euroasian?

    So she threw away her heritage?
